HKL-51352 Apparatus for Ageing of Lubricating Oil conforms to the DIN 51352: Determination of characteristics of lubricating oils by passing air through the lubricating oil. The sample is aged for two periods of 6 h by passing air through it at a temperature of 200°C. The Conradson carbon residue of the aged sample is determined in accordance with DIN 51551 and compared with the Conradson carbon residue of a non-aged sample. The instrument is suitable for determining the aging characteristics of lubricating oils.
